About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Further development and expansion of the school support team, including staff selection and case assignments
Professional responsibility and ongoing quality assurance for the educational services
Appreciative and goal-oriented guidance and leadership of up to 44 employees
Participation in planning, development and conceptual tasks
Networking and maintenance of contacts with school principals, teachers/educators, parents and service providers/funding authorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in a pedagogical field, e.g. social pedagogy, social work or social management (Bachelor, Master or Diplom), or an equivalent qualification
At least two years of professional experience working with children, adolescents or people with disabilities
Competent, diplomatic communication across different stakeholder levels within a social enterprise
Confident user of MS Office programs
Desire for professional development and a drive to make a difference
Knowledge of SGB VIII and SGB IX
Charismatic personality and persuasive rhetorical skills
Ability to inspire others
Willingness, even in a leadership role, to remain close to operational day-to-day work
