About the role
- Support and advise local teams
- Advise teams on effective strategies, goal setting, and team development
- Train teams on municipal climate policy and climate neutrality
- Design, organize, and facilitate workshops, courses, and events
- Enable local teams to implement their own projects in a practical and concrete way
- Support the establishment of new teams
- Identify best-practice projects and lighthouse initiatives from other municipalities
- Network local teams and create concrete entry points for regional collaboration
- Strategically further develop advisory concepts for the teams
Requirements
- You are familiar with municipal climate protection, local politics, or municipal administration
- You have a good understanding of political processes, institutions, and legal frameworks
- You have experience working with volunteers
- You enjoy project-based work using agile methods
- You are passionate about climate protection
- You are willing to engage with the sometimes complex aspects of municipal climate protection
- You are communicative and approachable
- You can motivate people, bring them on board, and connect them with each other
- You are highly organized, structured, and always keep an overview
- You work independently
- You are willing to travel throughout the region and occasionally to Berlin
- You are available for evening appointments.
