About the role

  • Developing, managing, and growing relationships with dealers in Georgia’s Own indirect lending network (Automobile, Marine and RV)
  • Serving as the primary liaison between the Credit Union and its dealer partners
  • Ensuring quality loan volume, adherence to lending guidelines, and mutually beneficial performance outcomes
  • Actively seeking out new dealership partners to expand Georgia’s Own reach and drive strategic loan growth
  • Maintaining strong, professional relationships through frequent communication – both in person and by phone
  • Providing training and ongoing support to dealership staff on the Credit Union’s products and processes
  • Addressing any issues or concerns raised by dealerships
  • Collaborating with Lending Administration to ensure credit policy alignment and loan quality
  • Actively working with dealer partners and internal staff to ensure that approved loans are captured and funded according to established expectations
  • Monitoring dealer performance and proactively addressing issues related to loan quality, funding delays, or documentation gaps
  • Driving volume growth through strategic dealer engagement while maintaining portfolio quality
  • Completing required dealer reviews and reports, constantly keeping a pulse of active dealers
  • Representing Georgia’s Own at industry events and dealership-sponsored activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or related field preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of management or sales experience within a financial institution required, with indirect lending field preferred
  • Must be willing and able to travel regularly within the assigned region (approximately 50 – 75% of the time)
  • Strong presence and professionalism in face-to-face interactions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence dealer behavior
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good sales skills in talking with dealers is a plus
  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays to support sales events, or promotional activities based on business needs
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in applying credit risk principles to lending recommendations
  • Understanding of financial services related products and overall financial services operations
  • Fluent in English required and Spanish preferred.
