About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the finance function end-to-end, initially as Geordie's sole internal finance hire.
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to provide financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
- Oversee invoicing, accounts payable and financial operations, working closely with external finance partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's unit economics, gross margins and customer profitability.
- Help leadership understand where capital is being deployed most effectively and provide financial insight to support investment decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading finance within a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company
- Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance or commercial finance
- Experience producing Board and investor reporting and supporting fundraising or due diligence processes
- Curious about AI and excited by the opportunity to build a modern, highly automated finance function
- Highly proactive, organised and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment
