About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct geospatial analysis using satellite imagery, GIS datasets, and open-source information.
- Perform feature extraction, digitization, and data collection within ArcGIS Pro and enterprise geodatabases.
- Analyze temporal imagery to identify changes, patterns, and activity indicators.
- Research and compile Publicly Available Information (PAI) from authoritative government, commercial, media, and academic sources.
- Integrate imagery analysis, GIS data, and PAI into concise analytical assessments.
- Produce maps, graphics, presentations, and written reports for customer delivery.
- Support rapid-response taskings with deadlines ranging from 24–72 hours.
- Maintain data quality standards and perform quality assurance reviews on analytical products.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior analysts to refine methodologies and meet mission objectives.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, templates, and analytical best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience creating, editing, and managing GIS features and datasets.
- Familiarity with geodatabases, feature classes, and enterprise GIS environments.
- Ability to interpret and analyze satellite imagery and geospatial datasets.
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify and assess relevant PAI sources.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet short-deadline deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating within a distributed team environment.
