About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with long-term care facilities to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
- Monitor application and utilization of wound care products
- Understand Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
- Educate facility staff on compliance with federal and state requirements
- Order wound care products through internal system "FastCare" for residents
- Support facility wound care programs by tracking, documentation, and understanding coverage guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Business savvy, sales-minded
- Self-starter, works independently
- Hard-working and motivated
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Must live in the designated area (Iowa City/Sioux City/Mason City) and be willing to travel on a daily basis
