Certified Wound Care Clinician, Nurse

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
- Monitoring proper application and utilization of wound care products
- Understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
- Educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements
- Ordering wound care products through our internal system "FastCare" for residents to receive their products
- Supporting facilities' wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products' coverage guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Business savvy, sales-minded
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Hard-working and motivated
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Must live in the designated area and be willing to travel on a daily basis
