About the role
- Collaborating in a team of six Nurse Unit Managers across Queensland, driving excellence in clinical service planning and management
- Engaging with referring clinicians and services to streamline patient pathways and promote our radiation therapy offerings
- Set SMART performance goals with your team and provide the leadership and support needed to achieve them
- Participating in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff, helping build a high-performing team
- Partnering with marketing and liaison teams to support education and awareness campaigns
- Lead and contribute to project initiatives, including participation in strategic project groups
- Support staff in education, research, and professional development opportunities
- Confidently navigate our electronic clinical prescribing system
- Collaborate with Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Nurses, and Allied Health teams to foster a strong team culture and deliver coordinated, high-quality care
- Be part of a supportive leadership team that values your expertise and empowers you to make a meaningful impact

Requirements
- Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA
- Proven leadership experience with a strong ability to manage people and drive team performance
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy for patients and their carers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including the NSQHS
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to create an environment that nurtures staff potential
- Postgraduate qualifications or experience in management or healthcare administration (Desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate change management (Desirable)
