About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You plan and design custom low-voltage switchgear for demanding automation projects.
  • You prepare electrical documentation in EPLAN — clear, precise, and complete.
  • You coordinate closely with our manufacturing, assembly, and software teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • You handle the technical preparation of supplier enquiries and ensure the availability of required components.
  • You support commissioning and see your designs come to life.
  • You ensure that all applicable standards and safety requirements are complied with.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) or further training as a technician/master (m/f/d) in electrical engineering — or an equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience in electrical design is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of EPLAN P8 — confident in planning and documentation
  • Driver’s license class B and willingness to travel occasionally within Germany, mainly in the Ruhr area
  • Independent, structured working style and a high standard of quality
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and projects that offer variety and opportunities to contribute
