About the role
- Design, develop and maintain high-performance ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt
- Model data at both conceptual and technical levels according to business requirements
- Optimize SQL queries and dbt models to ensure optimal performance
- Implement and maintain a DataOps infrastructure (deployment automation)
- Configure and manage data security: RBAC, row-level security, dynamic data masking
- Ensure efficient data ingestion from AWS S3 to Snowflake (Snowpipe, external stages)
- Orchestrate data flows via dbt and create DAGs with dependency management and tagging
- Implement data quality tests using dbt tests
Requirements
- Strong production experience with Snowflake (administration and development)
- Proven expertise with dbt, certification preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is a plus
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and strong documentation skills
