About the role
- Develop innovative plant concepts for mixing, reaction, and drying processes based on customer-specific requirements
- Process engineering design and calculation of subsystems, particularly for vacuum drying and reaction processes
- Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation (P&I) diagrams and functional descriptions, and support 3D layouts and equipment arrangement plans
- Select and specify purchased components in coordination with suppliers and support procurement
- Technical responsibility during order execution in close cooperation with project management, mechanical design, and control engineering
- Support commissioning, including on-site assistance at customer locations worldwide when required
- Contribute to development and innovation projects
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification with a focus on process engineering
- Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, material and energy balances, and fluid mechanics; basic chemical understanding is an advantage
- Initial professional experience in machinery or plant engineering, ideally with knowledge of vacuum and drying technology
- Experience working with technical drawings, PFDs, and P&I diagrams
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, and ability to work in a team
- Good English skills for oral and written technical communication
- Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning work
