Civil Engineer
GDMcom Planung GmbHBauingenieur overseeing project planning for telecommunications infrastructure in Berlin. Involved in multiple stages from planning to construction supervision and quality assurance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Project management for the design of new siphons/culverts (for the installation of telecommunications, gas, or potable water pipelines) or the rehabilitation of existing facilities
- Responsibility for project execution across tendering, preliminary, approval and detailed design phases, as well as construction supervision
- Explaining design, installation/drive methods (e.g., pipe jacking, microtunnelling) and the project schedule to clients, principals, authorities and other project stakeholders
- Preparation of tender documents and participation in the awarding of construction contracts
- Support during construction and acceptance/hand-over of construction works
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in civil engineering, infrastructure engineering or mining engineering
- Initial professional experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and AVA software (tendering/contract and cost management tools)
- Open and empathetic communication style
- Solution-oriented approach
- Commitment to high quality standards
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Valid Class B driver’s license (car)
