About the role
- Shape and evolve Gcore’s core technology narratives, translating product innovation into clear and compelling external communications.
- Define and lead the global communications strategy
- Own and steer the company’s core messaging and positioning across the organization
- Serve as the go-to internal expert for communications strategy
- Design and execute thought leadership programs for executives, including media placements, keynote opportunities, industry podcasts, and bylined articles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, analysts, and technology influencers across key markets.
- Develop and manage a strategic communications calendar covering product announcements, company milestones, and market insights.
- Support reputation management initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across media, industry platforms, and stakeholder communications.
- Contribute to crisis communications and issues management, including preparing response strategies, coordinating messaging, and supporting leadership during sensitive situations.
- Represent Gcore in media briefings, press roundtables, interviews, and other interactions with journalists and media outlets.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and leadership teams to identify joint storytelling opportunities and integrated campaigns.
- Support executive communications including speaking engagements, messaging development, and industry positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or executive communications, preferably within the enterprise technology, cloud, or infrastructure industry
- Experience managing communications around major product launches, industry events, or complex cross-functional projects
- Ability to quickly build knowledge across technical domains such as cloud infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, edge computing, or digital media delivery
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop creative communications programs that deliver measurable business impact
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent media relations skills with an established network across business, technology, and trade media
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, including experience producing executive messaging, thought leadership content, and strategic narratives.
