About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the lifecycle of corporate charitable giving and Foundation programs, including grant applications, review processes, award administration, and impact reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for grants, donations, volunteer activities, and community engagement initiatives
  • Monitor program budgets, expenses, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective program execution
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new community engagement programs and initiatives
  • Gather, analyze, and maintain data related to program participation, outcomes, and community impact
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support quarterly updates and organizational reporting
  • Track key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness
  • Support the collection of stories, testimonials, and impact data that demonstrate program success
  • Support internal communications efforts to promote community engagement programs and participation opportunities
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to develop content highlighting Garney’s community impact
  • Assist with donor stewardship activities, including correspondence, recognition efforts, and engagement tracking
  • Coordinate logistics and preparation for fundraising activities, volunteer events, and community engagement programs
  • Support relationships with nonprofit organizations, community partners, and external stakeholders
  • Represent Garney and the Foundation at community events and engagement activities
  • Assist with coordinating volunteer opportunities and employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide administrative and operational support for community partnership activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field – Preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, corporate social responsibility, nonprofit program administration, fundraising support, marketing, or related fields – Required
  • Experience supporting or managing grants, charitable programs, volunteer initiatives, or fundraising activities – Preferred
  • Experience with data tracking, reporting, and impact measurement – Required
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and working with multiple stakeholders – Required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience tracking budgets, program metrics, and operational performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with database management, reporting systems, or CRM platforms preferred
  • Passion for community engagement, philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility initiatives
