About the role

  • Join a team that works on Garmin Connect, the fitness and wellness application
  • Responsible for connect.garmin.com with all its encompassing features
  • Work in decoupled verticals with engineers spread between Cluj and US office
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, BAs, and Project Engineers on new features

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript application development including asynchronous programming, Promises, ES6
  • Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or similar
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Familiarity with unit and automation testing concepts and technologies
  • Experience with development processes including version control, automated testing, security, and performance considerations across modern browsers
  • ***Would be a plus:***
  • Experience with server-side programming using NodeJS, associated frameworks (Next.js or NestJS) and module bundlers like Webpack
  • Cloudflare Workers
