About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Senior Account Managers and Director in managing and expanding a portfolio of Dutch mid- and large-size corporate clients
Prepare client presentations, pitches, marketing materials, and credit proposals
Participate in client meetings and support relationship management activities
Conduct financial analysis, credit assessments, and industry research
Assist in structuring and executing financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated lending opportunities
Monitor client performance and identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships
Support client onboarding processes in cooperation with KYC, Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Operations teams
Analyse market developments and identify potential new business opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues across BBVA's international network to deliver integrated client solutions
Gradually take on increasing responsibility in client interactions, transaction execution, and business development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, lending, financial advisory, debt advisory, transaction banking, or a related field
A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk
Demonstrated interest in corporate banking and the Dutch mid- and large-corporate market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
