About the role

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing finance-related legal documents such as guarantees, letters of credit, and facility agreements.
  • Conduct legal research on EU and Dutch financial regulations, banking law, and regulatory changes.
  • Support the Legal Counsel team with transaction processes and compliance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Risk, Compliance, and Finance on legal and regulatory issues.
  • Help monitor developments in EU and Dutch prudential supervision and assist with internal updates.
  • Provide general support on administrative and organizational tasks within the Legal Department.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Law student (Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s) at a Dutch university — enrollment is required.
  • Strong interest in banking law, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic data analysis and research skills, with the ability to draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong presentation skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • English: full professional proficiency (required).
  • Dutch: native/bilingual (preferred).
  • Turkish: a plus.
  • Availability for a full/part time internship for a period of 6-9 months.
