About the role
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing finance-related legal documents such as guarantees, letters of credit, and facility agreements.
- Conduct legal research on EU and Dutch financial regulations, banking law, and regulatory changes.
- Support the Legal Counsel team with transaction processes and compliance-related matters.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Risk, Compliance, and Finance on legal and regulatory issues.
- Help monitor developments in EU and Dutch prudential supervision and assist with internal updates.
- Provide general support on administrative and organizational tasks within the Legal Department.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a Law student (Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s) at a Dutch university — enrollment is required.
- Strong interest in banking law, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic data analysis and research skills, with the ability to draw meaningful insights.
- Strong presentation skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- English: full professional proficiency (required).
- Dutch: native/bilingual (preferred).
- Turkish: a plus.
- Availability for a full/part time internship for a period of 6-9 months.
