About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support provider enrollment, maintenance, and renewal activities for the WV Medicaid program
- Review and process Medicaid provider enrollment applications, renewals, and maintenance requests
- Follow WV Medicaid-approved guidelines, the ACA, federal requirements, and established procedures
- Conduct extensive independent research
- Participate in special projects with occasional onsite requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Healthcare enrollment or credentialing experience desired
- Ability to follow written policies, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government/healthcare guidelines
- Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform extensive research independently
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- 2 years of working experience in healthcare, enrollment, credentialing, or related fields
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Must live in West Virginia or within a 30-mile radius of its borders
- Must complete a skills and competency assessment before advancing in the selection process
- Video cameras must be on during interviews and throughout the first week of orientation
