About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Event Calendar and Budgets: Create a comprehensive event calendar with clear timelines and budgets.
- Organize Kick-off Meetings: Align stakeholders on goals, timelines, and responsibilities through kick-off meetings.
- Oversee Budgeting Processes: Manage detailed budgeting processes involving multiple teams to ensure financial efficiency.
- Maintain Communication: Provide regular updates and consultations with relevant parties to ensure alignment and input.
- Manage Event Logistics: Handle contracts, booth logistics, and promotional items, ensuring timely ordering, payment, and shipping.
- Develop and Execute Promotions: Create and manage promotional timelines, event listings, and client events, including invitations and logistics.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-conference surveys, debrief meetings, and distribute reports to gather feedback and evaluate event impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and marketing
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Wrike, MediaFly)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing large-scale, complex events is preferred.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate event performance and ROI is preferred.
