About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts to ensure high-quality delivery of reporting and analytics solutions
- Develop and implement standardized reporting frameworks and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytics needs
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of data models, metrics, and KPIs
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for reporting and analytics
- Design and implement advanced analytical models to extract insights from complex data sets
- Provide technical guidance on data visualization, ETL processes, and analytical tools
- Monitor and evaluate performance of analytics initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in managing a team of Business Analysts or Data Analysts, preferably in a healthcare or Medicaid environment
- Strong technical proficiency with data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python, R, Tableau or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks)
- Knowledge of Medicaid operations or healthcare analytics is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
