About the role
- Provide support for NJMMIS Medicaid Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS), Data Warehouse, Member ODS and NJMMIS Mainframe systems
- Support data analytics and some software development for the listed systems
- Function well in a team environment and/or work independently to achieve project goals
- Multi-task and adapt to changing initiatives
- Participate in data analysis activities
- Code, test and document projects according to the specifications provided
- Participate in and conduct peer reviews as needed
- Provide moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users
- Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
Requirements
- 6+ years of applications development and support in mainframe environment using COBOL, JCL, IDCAMS, Expeditor and TSO/ISPF
- 3+ years of UNIX scripting and VI/VIM editor
- 5+ years of ad-hoc SQL to query databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI): SSIS, SSRS, Stored Procedures and Job Scheduling
- All phases of the SDLC, Software Development Life Cycle
- Healthcare and Medicaid systems experience is a preferred but not required.
