About the role
- Creation of 3D models, general arrangement drawings, as well as detail and fabrication drawings including parts lists in power plant and plant engineering
- Optimization and further development of existing 3D models of components
- Performing technical calculations, depending on qualification
- Collaboration with external planners, suppliers and manufacturing companies
Requirements
- Degree in structural steel design, mechanical or plant engineering, or a comparable discipline with a focus on design engineering
- Professional experience in design/engineering
- Knowledge of welding- and coating-compliant design of metallic components
- Proficient in CAD software; Tekla experience advantageous
- Good command of English
- Business-minded/entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility and commitment
- Willingness to independently familiarize yourself with other disciplines
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and good communication abilities
