About the role
- Designing, implementing and continuously developing the ESG strategy in close cooperation with executive management
- Supporting the operational business units in identifying and implementing sustainability and ESG projects
- Analyzing and implementing group-wide requirements for reporting obligations related to sustainability activities
- Participating in the planning, preparation and coordination of audits
- Conducting life cycle analyses, carbon footprint calculations and KPI development
- Promoting employee awareness through target-group-specific measures
Requirements
- Degree with a focus on sustainability or ESG management, or equivalent qualification
- Practical experience in sustainability management in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 50001 or EMAS
- Proactive engagement with new projects and committed implementation of resulting measures
- Pragmatic, analytical and results-oriented working style
- Passion for sustainability
- Confident presence and strong communication skills
- Interest in working in intercultural teams
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Fluent German and very good English skills
