Business Developer/Engagement Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Build relationships with startup founders and operators
- Support outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Coordinate early-stage client conversations
- Help expand FutureProofing’s network and partnerships
- Contribute to the growth of AI-native startup initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in outbound sales, partnerships, recruiting, business development, client acquisition, or account management
- Experience operating in startup or fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience handling client-facing conversations independently
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and relationship-building
- Familiarity with how startups raise, grow, and get evaluated. You understand what founders and investors care about and can speak credibly to it.
