About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and maintain backend services in Python
Build and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing
Work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality and consistency
Develop data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Containerize applications using Docker and contribute to scalable architectures
Analyze datasets to extract insights and support technical decision-making
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer working with Python
Advanced expertise in data analysis and transformation using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, applied to large-scale and production-grade datasets.
Strong experience building ETL/data processing pipelines
Solid experience with Python and relevant frameworks/tools
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Strong experience with Docker and containerized environments
Ability to analyze and work with data, understanding structure, anomalies, and patterns
Experience handling large-scale datasets
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
English level B2+
