About the role

  • Own the full lifecycle of AWS and cloud infrastructure
  • Lead a small DevOps team and architect cloud platform
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and security hardening
  • Optimize AWS costs through right-sizing and resource management
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations
  • Manage security policies, backup strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Design and maintain comprehensive monitoring stack
  • Lead and coordinate a small DevOps team, providing technical direction

Requirements

  • 8+ years in DevOps roles
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, ALB/NLB)
  • Production experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Strong experience with Docker and container management tools (ECS, Portainer, Coolify)
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or Node.js for automation tasks
  • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, CDN, secure access solutions)
  • Experience with RDS (PostgreSQL), performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures
  • Professional-level English communication skills
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) is essential
  • Preferred AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience in regulated industries (Fintech, Blockchain, Digital Assets, or Financial Services)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
