Key responsibilities & impact

Repair and refinish furniture and manage aspects of the business
Work on repairing cracked or split wood, filling chips and gouges, and replacing broken hardware
Mix colors for furniture finishing to match existing finishes
Interact with customers and provide superior customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of and experience with everyday workshop tools
Basic talent for eyeing colors and able to mix colors (dyes and pigments) for furniture finishing
Previous employment experience in furniture repair or related field
Willingness to undergo a background check including driving record and criminal background check
Interested in furniture repairing and recycling as a career
Completion of a technical program or college is a plus
