About the role
- Engineering of train radio system solutions in response to inquiries from internal and external customers
- On-site inspections of rail vehicles and preparation of technical documentation
- Independent organization and execution of fault analyses (including on-site), customer training, and first- and second-level analyses
- Coordination of problem resolution with development and other required partners
- Analyzing and testing issues
- Documenting issues and solutions
- Translating insights gained into requirements for current and future products
Requirements
- University/technical college/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Communications Engineering, or several years of experience in a similar environment
- Technical understanding and the willingness and ability to master new technological complexities
- Knowledge of project management and sales is a plus
- Flexibility
- Independent and responsible working style
- Willingness to travel for work
- Excellent German, spoken and written
- Good English, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
