About the role
- Responsible for procuring defined commodity groups (materials & services)
- Conducting, analyzing and further developing tenders
- Selecting, developing and evaluating suppliers
- Negotiating and concluding framework agreements, supply and project-specific contracts
- Close coordination with internal stakeholders and the Head of Purchasing
- Active participation in and continuous optimization of procurement processes
- Further development and support of the existing e-procurement system
- Introduction, implementation and support of new digital tools in the purchasing environment
- Identifying automation and AI potentials in procurement
- Acting as an interface between Purchasing, IT and business units on system and process matters
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or degree, ideally with a digital, IT or process-oriented focus
- Several years of professional experience in procurement (operational and/or process-related)
- Strong interest in digitization, e-procurement, new tools and technologies
- Very good knowledge of SAP and advanced MS Office skills
- Analytical and structured way of working with a high degree of initiative
- Business-fluent German and English skills
