About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Apply expert Excel and related database programming/management skills to export and organize data from legacy systems for import into FundCount.
Perform data validation tests to understand and improve data quality.
Document data flow through legacy system antecedents and other databases.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis where necessary in recommending process improvements.
Assist in the creation of new — and the maintenance of existing — data import and export interfaces between FundCount and 3rd-party systems and services.
Develop Excel-based macros and scripts to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Build validation and reconciliation reports and dashboards to confirm migrated data ties out to official records.
Work on multiple data migration implementation projects simultaneously.
Interface with internal staff to implement data migration tasks.
Manage data migration testing and reporting.
Help identify design and interface process improvements.
Create systems integration documentation.
Submit the results of work into the Jira tracking system, properly describing and organizing each task according to the company’s established workflow.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of relevant experience creating reports for business users of ERP systems
Advanced MS Excel knowledge and an understanding of SQL queries
Understanding of the principles of analyzing large data sets and identifying patterns to define rules
Ability to learn new things quickly and work both independently and as a member of a project team
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
