About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for building scalable automation solutions
- Developing reusable scripts and frameworks
- Integrating systems through APIs
- Improving operational efficiency through intelligent automation
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders, DevOps teams, QA teams, and solution architects
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation solutions and applications
- Build reusable automation frameworks, scripts, and utilities for enterprise processes
- Develop integrations with APIs, databases, cloud services, and third-party applications
- Automate repetitive business and operational tasks to improve efficiency
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Develop and optimize backend services, schedulers, and automation workflows
- Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment automation
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices are followed
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Expertise in Python libraries and frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, Pandas, Requests, Selenium, or PyTest
- Strong knowledge of automation scripting and workflow automation
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API integrations
- Good understanding of SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Working experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Working experience in AWS Cloud environment
- Hands-on experience of code deployment, CI/CD pipeline creation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Experience with RPA tools or intelligent automation platforms (preferred)
- Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools such as Airflow or Cron (preferred)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred)
- Exposure to AI-based automation solutions is a plus (preferred)
