About the role
- Design, develop and implement Salesforce solutions across Salesforce Cloud platforms (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
- Act as Salesforce platform solution expert and technical SME for capability team
- Engage with Solution Architects, Technical Leaders, Product Owners, Business SMEs and Business Analysts to design capabilities
- Develop custom code (Apex, LWC, Visualforce) and integrations (REST/SOAP) to meet business objectives
- Configure Salesforce objects, layouts, workflows, validation rules, triggers and automation
- Perform unit, integration and UAT testing; ensure high quality and reliability of solutions
- Participate in release planning and may act as release manager for environment releases
- Contribute to and maintain knowledge base and best practices; apply test-driven development and configuration-over-customization principles
- Use tools including Jira, GitHub, Gearset for deployments and OwnBackup for data management
- Analyze requirements, propose flexible solutions, and support change management and stakeholder communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 yrs. of experience as a salesforce developer
- Strong in Service Cloud – Email-to-Case, Omni-channel setup, Lightning Knowledge, Assignment Rules
- Strong in LWC (Lightning Web Components) development
- Strong in Apex plus integration (REST) development
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs; experience with SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience in CTI integration, email automation, self-service, and knowledge management
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems; familiarity with MuleSoft or Salesforce Integration Cloud
- Ability to perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- Earn and maintain Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder, Developer I, Developer II)
