About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of each client's business and industry
  • Contribute to strategic project plans for client programs
  • Draft internal communications, stakeholder messaging, presentations, and other client materials
  • Anticipate client needs and concerns and work proactively with senior leaders
  • Provide project management support for on-time delivery
  • Produce research-based pitch decks and proposals
  • Partner with senior team members to develop new market offerings
  • Author thought leadership, drive social media content, and pursue awards as needed
  • Support communications and change management strategies during transformations and transitions
  • Develop communication strategies for restructurings, merger integrations, carve-outs, and transaction-related assignments
  • Address communications for internal stakeholders, media, investors, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
  • Collaborate across multiple projects and client-facing teams
  • Travel to client engagements and FTI offices as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in communications and/or change management transaction-related work
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple client assignments
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with a wide variety of individuals
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • High level of integrity and mindfulness regarding confidential information
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be a self-starter
  • Working knowledge of Chapter 11 restructuring and/or M&A transactions preferred
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices
  • Current authorization to work full-time in the United States for any employer
  • This position does not provide visa sponsorship
