About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prototype, validate, and implement AI/ML solutions on diverse and constantly evolving client datasets
Apply the latest LLMs in Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock to tasks like: summarization, classification, entity extraction, text-to-query, language generation
Develop RAG pipelines, semantic search, and hybrid search
Create and implement new metrics, evaluation pipelines, and internal training/test datasets
Survey, test, and critique use of emerging technologies to enhance existing solutions and develop new capabilities
Share your work with clients and colleagues and to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of practical, relevant experience building NLP/IR/ML systems, from ideation to production
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
High level of analytical programming competency (e.g., Python, R)
Hands-on development experiment with LLMs, deep learning NLP models and traditional ML techniques
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
