About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Infrastructure operations: Operation and maintenance of Linux and Kubernetes environments (including server hardware and storage/SAN)
Platform management: Ensuring reliable operation of the Kubernetes platform in collaboration with Application Services
Performance & stability: Proactive monitoring, root cause analysis and troubleshooting in the event of system outages
Innovation & automation: Automation of deployments, scaling and updates (close coordination with R&D/SAE)
Future planning: Capacity planning and validation of new components prior to rollout
Collaboration: Close cooperation with our developers to deliver digital customer solutions
Knowledge base: Creation of operational runbooks and documentation of recovery/restart scenarios

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience and completed training/qualification in an IT-related field
Deep expertise in Linux & Kubernetes
Experience with ESX hosts as well as storage and SAN systems
Passion for performance optimization and automation
Team player with enthusiasm for close collaboration with R&D and Architecture
Structured working style and a strong quality mindset
