About the role
- Preparation of company financial accounting and/or payroll processing
- Preparation of management reports, including analysis and reconciliation with clients
- Support in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Preparation of corporate and/or personal tax returns
- Assistance with tax audits and/or audits by the German Pension Insurance (Deutsche Rentenversicherung)
- Participation in tax advisory work, if desired
- Communication with clients and tax authorities
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) and further qualification as a tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt)
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a tax assistant (m/f/x)
- Independent and reliable working style
- Good knowledge of MS Office and DATEV applications
- Openness to intercultural collaboration
- Good spoken and written English for communication within the team and with clients
