About the role
- The Private Equity Investment Associate will work closely with the founding partner and current team.
- Responsibilities include research on technology, software, and health/wellness/healthcare; financial modeling; due diligence; underwriting decisions; preparing presentations and materials for investors.
- Build PowerPoint presentations; monitor portfolio companies announcements; draft memos and write-ups; corporate strategy; maintain CRM database; provide general support; other responsibilities as mutually agreed.
- Opportunity to learn from Founding Partner with significant capital deployment; participate in ongoing development; training and speaker series.
Requirements
- Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity/venture capital
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Able to work independently and be a self-starter as well as a team player
- Finance/Accounting knowledge and financial modeling skills (preferred but not required)
- Resourcefulness and thoroughness in conducting research and financial analysis
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
