Key responsibilities & impact

Design and enhance our high-performance Java web applications using industry-standard frameworks
Architect and implement new features for sophisticated software solutions in collaboration with project management, design, and development teams
Write automated tests and configure deployments for web applications
Profile applications and identify performance bottlenecks in our Java systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of hands-on experience in software engineering
Strong knowledge of Java (8, 11) and object-oriented software architectures
Experience with the Spring (Boot) framework
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with software integration (SOAP/REST)
Comfortable with microservices architectures and API-based and event-driven communication
Experience using build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
Experience with agile team-based development and an organized, results-oriented approach to building sustainable, scalable web systems
Good understanding of designing distributed systems
Good command of English, regardless of your native language
