About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and enhance our high-performance Java web applications using industry-standard frameworks
- Architect and implement new features for sophisticated software solutions in collaboration with project management, design, and development teams
- Write automated tests and configure deployments for web applications
- Profile applications and identify performance bottlenecks in our Java systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of hands-on experience in software engineering
- Strong knowledge of Java (8, 11) and object-oriented software architectures
- Experience with the Spring (Boot) framework
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with software integration (SOAP/REST)
- Comfortable with microservices architectures and API-based and event-driven communication
- Experience using build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
- Experience with agile team-based development and an organized, results-oriented approach to building sustainable, scalable web systems
- Good understanding of designing distributed systems
- Good command of English, regardless of your native language
