About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the commercial relationship with Jascots as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
- Build trusted, collaborative partnerships supporting long-term customer growth and mutual business success
- Create and implement customer and route-to-market strategies across the portfolio of brands
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, visibility, sales performance and profitability
- Lead customer business planning, setting objectives, priorities and action plans
- Prepare, negotiate and present commercial proposals
- Manage customer contracts, trading agreements, pricing structures and commercial terms
- Deliver agreed sales volume, revenue and margin targets across the account
- Forecast sales, monitor account performance and track market trends and commercial risks
- Analyse sales data and customer performance to identify growth and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to execute account plans
- Represent the business at customer meetings, trade visits and industry events
- Champion company values and foster a positive, inclusive culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing customer relationships or commercial accounts within an FMCG or business-to-business environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage a variety of stakeholders
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Confidence analysing sales data and using insights to drive commercial decisions
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against objectives
- Collaborative, proactive and results-driven approach
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally when required
- Interest in wine and the premium drinks industry
