Telehealth Licensed Counselor
Freedom Support ServicesPart Time Fully Licensed Counselor at outpatient mental health practice focused on supporting health professionals. Position is remote and emphasizes teamwork in the mental health space.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in Telehealth interactions as well as on social media.
- Complete intake assessments which include documentation such as Mental Status Exams, Biopsychosocial, PHQ-9 or 2, GAD, CSSRS Risk Assessment, etc.
- Maintain an average of 18 hours of availability per week with a goal of billing 15+ hours per week.
- Ability to offer a minimum of 3 evening appointments each week.
- Effectively create and carry out treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
- Complete progress notes within 24 hours of time of service.
- Complete timesheet daily reflecting the billable hours worked.
- Maintain client’s charts and keep complete and correct documentation.
- Complete discharge summaries as required by insurance.
- Develop rapport with clients in order to facilitate a healthy professional relationship.
- Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of full time experience in a clinical environment
- Fully Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of Virginia
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Previous clinical experience in or in developing in one of these specialty areas: Christian counseling, couples & families, children & adolescents, or trauma.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively with other health care professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseload, appointments, and follow up
- Proven ability to identify challenges and provide effective solutions.
