About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows to collect, clean, and transform data from various sources into usable formats
Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout the data processing lifecycle
Analyze and interpret health insurance exchange data and related datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Design, develop, and maintain databases, data models, and schemas for efficient storage and retrieval of data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data analysis, engineering, and visualization
Identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure, processes, and analytics capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or equivalent work experience preferred
2+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or related technical roles preferred
Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis, within Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, and PL/SQL environments
Experience with Tableau and Excel experience with Power BI or similar visualization platforms preferred
Proficiency in data profiling, manipulation, and transformation using tools such as Pandas, Python, or similar
Experience working with cloud or warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift preferred
Familiarity with additional database platforms and data environments is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment
