About the role

  • Project management: Independent management and coordination of graphic design projects
  • Design conception: Strategic conception and creative development of innovative design concepts and formats for brand management and technology marketing, with particular focus on our audio and media technologies
  • Publication design & production responsibility: Responsible for the high-quality, on-schedule graphic implementation of demanding publications
  • Visualization: Creation of infographics and illustrations to clearly present complex technological content
  • Data maintenance: Shared responsibility for maintaining, further developing, and improving the media database system
  • Photo editing: Selection, editing, and editorial management of imagery for print and online
  • AI workflows: Proactively advancing the area of responsibility through AI tools (use cases, workflows, prompt development, tool evaluation, and quality assurance)

Requirements

  • University degree in communication design or media design
  • Very good knowledge of standard graphic design software and solid skills in Office applications
  • Desirable: experience in animation (concept and production of explainer videos), 3D design (creation and animation of 3D models and scenes), and image synthesis (lighting, shading, and rendering)
  • Interest in new technological developments
  • Ideally, initial practical experience as a media designer in technology-focused companies, research institutions, or design agencies
  • Business-fluent German (spoken and written) and very good English skills.
