About the role
- Development of protocol layers (Application and Data Link Layer) in Python and C++ for military software-defined radios
- Serve as the primary expert for the higher protocol layers (Application and Data Link Layer)
- Develop a user-friendly GUI for visualization and interaction with the system
- Responsibility for successful system start-up/commissioning
- Plan and conduct laboratory tests to validate the functionality and performance of the implementation
- Actively collaborate within a diverse, interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of Python and/or C++
- Proficient working with Linux
- Enjoy working in agile teams with continuous integration
- Experience with network technologies, particularly at the Data Link Layer
- Strong team skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written.
