About the role

  • Development of protocol layers (Application and Data Link Layer) in Python and C++ for military software-defined radios
  • Serve as the primary expert for the higher protocol layers (Application and Data Link Layer)
  • Develop a user-friendly GUI for visualization and interaction with the system
  • Responsibility for successful system start-up/commissioning
  • Plan and conduct laboratory tests to validate the functionality and performance of the implementation
  • Actively collaborate within a diverse, interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of Python and/or C++
  • Proficient working with Linux
  • Enjoy working in agile teams with continuous integration
  • Experience with network technologies, particularly at the Data Link Layer
  • Strong team skills and a solution-oriented approach
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written.
