About the role
- Responsible for procuring goods, works, and services in compliance with public procurement law.
- Advise staff on all matters related to purchasing and procurement.
- Manage and support tendering/procurement procedures in SAP.
- Communicate and negotiate with bidders, including in an international context, in German and English.
- Review and evaluate submitted bids in collaboration with the scientific departments.
Requirements
- Completed technical or commercial vocational training with related further qualifications, or a degree with a technical or technical-business background.
- Ideally, professional experience in technical purchasing and knowledge of public procurement law.
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, strong communication skills, and a confident demeanor.
