- You contribute innovative ideas that improve the design of heterogeneous electronic systems in multiple ways
- Development and implementation of tool flows for the heterogeneous integration of components in advanced packages
- Support system/technology co-optimization (STCO) with tools across the entire design process
- Connect and integrate design tools from leading vendors to enable an end-to-end design flow
- Implement co-design and co-verification processes for mixed-signal designs and Chiplet RDL (Redistribution Layer) design in close collaboration with development engineers
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
- Practical experience in chip design and ideally experience in package design
- Team-player attitude with an independent working style and goal-oriented communication
- Proficient in the use of chip design and/or test tools
- Solid knowledge of heterogeneous integration and the development of tool flows
- Experience with chip(let) and package design (ideally knowledge of STCO – System/Technology Co-Optimization)
- Familiarity with design tools such as Siemens EDA, Cadence, Synopsys, HFSS, and CST
- Experience in co-design and co-verification methodologies for 2.5D and 3D integration technologies
- Knowledge of parasitic extraction and its application in early package exploration flows
- Familiarity with (quasi-)standardized file formats and tool APIs
- Ability to integrate and verify processes and to analyze simulation results
- Experience conducting iterative process optimizations to improve tool performance
