About the role

  • You will investigate how AI agents are currently deployed in industrial environments.
  • You will develop a concept to make the use of AI agents in data spaces trustworthy through the use of decentralized identity technologies.
  • You will evaluate your concept against key criteria such as scalability, interoperability, and resilience.
  • You will implement your solution as an initial demonstrator prototype to demonstrate the practical feasibility of your ideas.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Master's program in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Strong programming skills in at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Rust, Go)
  • Interest in innovative technologies, data-driven solutions, and applied research in trustworthy AI, AI agents, and identity management (SSI)
  • A team-oriented, careful, and self-directed working style and the ability to conduct independent, scientific work
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
