About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will develop and validate the business model (value proposition, pricing, go-to-market strategy).
You will be responsible for the ongoing development of the business plan.
Your responsibilities will include customer acquisition, building scalable sales pipelines, and securing VC and grant funding.
You will help shape the technology roadmap together with the development team.
You will prepare and conduct demos, trade shows, and partner workshops.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a master’s degree or equivalent (Master’s / Diplom (Univ.)) in Industrial Engineering, or a technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Engineering, Materials Science) combined with an MBA or a comparable qualification with a proven strong technical and business focus.
In addition, you have a proven track record in customer acquisition, VC/investor meetings, and grant applications.
Preferably, you have in-depth knowledge of laser technology and optics and, ideally, initial experience in industrial production.
Ideally, you also have German and English language skills at the C2 level.
