About the role

  • You will support our mobile security testing laboratory.
  • You will receive training in secure application development for Apple’s iOS operating system.
  • You will work in two main areas: systematic vulnerability analysis in the context of industrial projects and the development of automated analyses for the Appicator analysis framework.
  • You will contribute your own ideas and collaborate with us on researching new methods.

Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • You have excellent knowledge of IT security, especially mobile security.
  • You already have experience in software development for Apple iOS devices or are interested in learning it.
  • You are also familiar with reverse engineering.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • You are interested in challenging scientific problems in both theory and practice.
