About the role
- Research current developments in quantum algorithms
- Develop state-of-the-art algorithms as proof-of-concept implementations
- Implement and develop application-oriented algorithms on the institute's internal quantum computer
- Prepare and illustrate material for teaching purposes
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related degree program with a natural-science or engineering focus
- Basic programming skills in Python
- Understanding of engineering problem-solving and principles
- Solid knowledge of linear algebra and probability/stochastics is essential
- Basic knowledge of quantum computing is an advantage
- Ability to work independently, in a goal-oriented manner, and with attention to detail
