About the role
- Development of suitable active and passive materials, in particular for aluminum-ion batteries
- Further development of manufacturing technology for pouch cells, especially for corrosive electrolytes
- Electrochemical characterization of cells, including impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
- Coordination and execution of research projects in collaboration with consortium partners and customers
- Integration and supervision of students in technical and scientific work
- Concurrently supporting the strategic development of the topic “alternative battery materials” with a view to industrial implementation
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in Chemistry, Chemical Process Engineering or a comparable discipline; PhD welcomed
- Relevant experience in electrochemical energy storage and their characterization
- Experience in physical and structural materials analysis is desirable
- Knowledge of Origin (OriginLab) is desirable
- Confident interaction with customers and partners
- Team player with strong organizational skills
