About the role

  • Development of suitable active and passive materials, in particular for aluminum-ion batteries
  • Further development of manufacturing technology for pouch cells, especially for corrosive electrolytes
  • Electrochemical characterization of cells, including impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
  • Coordination and execution of research projects in collaboration with consortium partners and customers
  • Integration and supervision of students in technical and scientific work
  • Concurrently supporting the strategic development of the topic “alternative battery materials” with a view to industrial implementation

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in Chemistry, Chemical Process Engineering or a comparable discipline; PhD welcomed
  • Relevant experience in electrochemical energy storage and their characterization
  • Experience in physical and structural materials analysis is desirable
  • Knowledge of Origin (OriginLab) is desirable
  • Confident interaction with customers and partners
  • Team player with strong organizational skills
